Rachel Bailey

LPC-Associate (Supervised by Adam Sandlin, LPC-S)

Rachel has earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) supervised by Adam Sandlin, LPC-S. She has counseled individuals, groups, and families as well as serving in leadership roles and providing discipleship in church care ministries. She has experience working with trauma, mood disorders (depression/anxiety), codependency, abuse, domestic violence, and relationship problems.

Rachel has received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Additionally, Rachel completed a theological training program through The Village Church as well as the Equipped To Counsel program through the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC).

Rachel's heart is to see others live in the freedom of the Gospel and the Kingdom of God go forward in the daily lives of those she counsels.

She desires all people, especially those that are suffering, to find their own story in God's big story. She believes people find healing in relationships--first with God, then with others. The therapeutic relationship is a powerful tool God uses for His people to experience the freedom available to them and to be transformed more and more into the image of Christ.

Rachel enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, working out at CrossFit, and doing just about anything with friends. She and her family are members at The Village Church in Flower Mound.

Rachel is currently offering both in-person and telehealth (video) counseling sessions.
